Every once in a while I will invest in a fabulous piece that I believe will not only enhance my wardrobe but also will last through the years. However, my wardrobe mostly consists of pieces that resemble higher priced items for a fraction of the price. I love finding a Tory Burch bag that resembles a Prada or a great pair of Steve Madden’s that look just like this season’s must have Stuart Weitzman’s. I don’t believe in purchasing straight up knock off’s, however finding a great look alike that is made with good quality materials is right up my alley!

When I do invest in a high priced item I try to make sure it is neutral enough to wear on an almost daily basis. I ask myself “will this be in style for years to come?” Or “is this just a passing trend that I might regret next year?” I love a good LV because they have been around for so long and their styles rarely change. My mom still carries her “Speedy” bag that she purchased over 30 years ago. Well-made, timeless items will stand the test of time.
