I’ve been working on getting my house set up for a while now and it’s finally coming together. It’s safe to say that my home style is girly glam, thank goodness my sister/roommate shares my love of pink and gold!

When decorating my home I try to keep to a specific style and be careful not to over do anything. That doesn’t mean you have to be a minimalist, just focus on a few fabulous feature pieces. When you put too many statement pieces together, it can get too busy and end up taking away from whatever your show piece is. Surround your statement piece with neutral pieces that will enhance the space without cluttering it.

Remember, your home is like your wardrobe, it should reflect who YOU are. Don’t let rules define your style, let them help enhance your personal taste.
